Common Data Format Markup Language (CDFML): XML specification that is a self-describing data abstraction for the storage and manipulation of multidimensional data in a discipline-independent fashion. One of the CDFML's goals is, as a proof of concept, demonstrating the interoperability between CDF and Flexible Image Transport System (FITSML) using XDF as the intermediary format. Organization: NASA. More information: CDFMLF page on the NSSDC Web site (new window).
